Serving Individuals and Providing 401(k) & 403(b) Plans
Eve became involved in financial planning in the 1990s because she saw how confused and overwhelmed people felt about making financial decisions. Eve formerly managed nearly $1 billion in mutual fund investments in the 1990s but she especially enjoys currently working with people on a one-on-one basis.
Eve's parents were divorced when she was a teenager. The resulting turmoil and long-lasting impact on her family was very damaging. Eve feels divorce could have been avoided if there was a financial advisor her parents could have turned to since money differences drove her parents apart (note: money issues remains one of the biggest reasons marriages end in divorce). Unfortunately, financial planning advice was virtually non-existent in the 1970s - financial advice centered around insurance sales, bankers and little else.
Eve received a BA from Brandeis University and a MA, ABD (PhD Candidate) from Harvard University. She enjoyed a successful international investment career in New York, Tokyo, Singapore and Rotterdam (1984-2001). As a Senior Portfolio Manager in the Netherlands, Eve managed over $900 million invested in international equities. Eve speaks Japanese and Dutch, and is conversant in a number of other languages.
Eve became a Certified Financial Planner
® Practitioner in 2004. She combines precision analytics with an approachable, inclusive style. This approachable style works well with many couples - one person may need/like a technical approach to planning but the spouse/partner may quickly feel lost. Eve's approach marries the two styles. This helps clients who feel unsure about financial issues, but seek guidance from a knowledgeable professional who won't snow them under with excessive techno-talk.
With over 27 years of investment experience, Eve is well-equipped to help her clients navigate uncertain and choppy markets. Eve and her “best in class” team orchestrate comprehensive planning solutions so her clients have the highest probability of achieving their goals.
